The grimoires say that this Kabbalistic Divine Name gives the power to bring things to an end as well as to start something new, and to visibly see angels and to grasp what it grasps.

I interpret the first power to mean that you can use this name when you want to bring something new to life: like a project, relationship, or anything else. You could use it to start a new career. A new magical working. When creating a servitor. Also, if something is losing energy and is dying, you can use this name to breathe new life into it. So if you are working on a long-term project, like a novel for example, and you've lost inspiration and motivation you could use this name to get out of the rut and revitalize your enthusiasm. Likewise, you could use it to take the steam out of anything that has gone on too long and you want to bring it to a quick end. You can use it to end a relationship, a failed project, a job you no longer want, a battle that has gone on for too long, or anything else in your life.

Traditionally it is said that this name can help you see angels and to grasp what it grasps. I take this to mean that it will help improve your clairvoyance and claircognizance, at least when dealing with angels.
